The ABREX Series features 4 standard options of abrasion resistant steel plate in addition to 3 extra tough options – a product range capable of meeting a variety of needs. All of our products are maintained at very low impurity levels, making them well suited to welding and formability.
Corrosion Resistance Steel for Repainting Cycle Extension
"CORSPACE™" substantially suppresses corrosion by addition of a small amount of tin. Compared to conventional steel, it has a longer span until repainting will be necessary, which will reduce the Life Cycle Cost.
Weldable High-tensile Strength Steel Plates
"WEL-TEN™" Series is high tensile and superior weldability steel featuring a rich variety of product categories. It has a wide range of applications, including pressure vessels, oil storage tanks, penstock, bridges, buildings, construction equipment and industrial equipment
High corrosion resistant coated steel ZAM® and SuperDyma®
A precoated steel sheet featuring the ultimate corrosion resistance, which was successfully commercialized by Nippon Steel Corporation for the first time in the world. An alloy coating consisting primarily of zinc, with 19% aluminum, 6% magnesium, and trace amounts of silicon realizes anti-corrosion performance on flat surfaces, roughly 10 times that of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet (GI), and roughly twice that of conventional high corrosion resistant coated steel sheet.

Leading the high corrosion resistant coated steel market. We also supply ZAM® and SuperDyma® if customers prefer. Al- and Mg- added (Al-, Mg- and Si-added) coated steel sheets are available around the world, including ours, and their corrosion resistance depends on the content of these additives. ZAM®-EX conforms to JIS G 3323 and has AI and Mg contents that conform to JIS G 3323; therefore, it exhibits excellent corrosion resistance.

Stainless steel for high-pressure hydrogen "HYDREXELTM" will make innovation to hydrogen-based society. To supply energy to fuel cell vehicles (FCV), which use hydrogen as the next-generation clean energy, hydrogen stations are being established in the world. Unique stainless steel with excellent hydrogen embrittlement resistance and higher strength for use in high pressure hydrogen environment.
